Shah Corporation Limited is the data controller for your personal data. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the service, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Your email address (when you sign up or sign in).
• Sign-in identifiers from third-party providers (e.g. Google), if you choose to use them.

• Your reading activity within the service: which stories you open, choices you make, chapters and beats read, credits spent, and timestamps.
• Stored content needed to deliver the service: your in-progress reading state and associated story data.
• Engagement, device, interaction, attribution, and conversion data collected via analytics, advertising, and measurement technologies (including but not limited to first-party analytics, third-party analytics providers, and advertising and attribution pixels).

How we use it

• To deliver the service — give you stories to read, save your place, charge credits, and let you resume across devices.
• To send transactional and account email (sign-in links, welcome messages, important notices).
• To measure how the service performs, debug issues, and decide what to build next.
• To run, measure, and optimise advertising campaigns.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and breach of our terms.

Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of (a) the contract between you and us when you use the service, (b) our legitimate interest in operating, improving, securing, and growing the service, and (c) your consent where required (for example, marketing cookies).

We may retain data we are legally required to keep, or that is needed to investigate abuse or to enforce our terms. Story content, anonymised logs, and aggregate analytics may be retained.

International users

StoryKix is operated from the United Kingdom and may be used worldwide. By using the service, you consent to your data being transferred to, processed, and stored in the United Kingdom and in countries where our third-party providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for unauthorised access to, loss of, or alteration of your data caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Children

StoryKix is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have, we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice where reasonably practicable. The current version is the version published on this page. Continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance.
